Full Moon Rising Resources

We have decided it would be fun and helpful to offer some information and resources we have held in high esteem across a range of subjects. We don’t make these recommendations lightly and in every case, each will have demonstrated a high caliber of professionalism, competency, honesty and reliability. We hope to also include information we just really enjoy, find interesting or is just plain fun. This is meant to be an evergreen document so keep watching for changes or additions. For now there will be no particular order to items and in each case we will provide the appropriate contact information. Enjoy! Feedback will always be welcome.

Erika’s Equine

Erika has done natural hoof care and barefoot trimming since 2003. She practices a style of hoof trimming based on the study of the hooves of wild free roaming Mustangs. We have found Erika to be meticulous and always very patient with the horses, always trying to understand them. Erika also is very willing to share her knowledge about hoof care.

The Soul of a Horse by Joe Camp

- Enjoyable book about horses but also an eye opener as to way we do certain things for our horses.
